Allstate Auto Carriers Privacy Policy
Terms of Service Allstate Auto Carriers will arrange for nationwide door-to-door transport of new and used automobiles pursuant to the service conditions set forth herein. Allstate Auto Carriers will select authorized motor carriers who will transport customers’ vehicles in accordance with the first date vehicles available for pickup indicated by the customers. The authorized motor carrier assigned will be identified at or before the time of pickup and a bill of lading and/or shipping receipt will be executed by the motor carrier including the name of the carrier in care, custody and control of the shipment, and the apparent condition of the vehicle at point of origin.
Allstate Auto Carriers is licensed and bonded in accordance with US Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration 49 C.F.R. 371 and Docket No. MC # 676168 as a property broker. Allstate Auto Carriers is authorized by the FMCSA to arrange for the transportation of new and used motor vehicles, utilizing licensed, insured and authorized motor carriers and other service providers.
In placing an order with Allstate Auto Carriers, you warrant that at time of tender, the vehicle will not contain electronic equipment, guns or explosives, flammable product, negotiable or legal papers, alcoholic beverages, narcotics or controlled substances, live animals or plants, contraband, household goods or personal items or any items of unusual value. Allstate Auto Carriers’ authorized motor carriers are not licensed, bonded and/or insured to transport household goods or personal items and in placing an order with Allstate Auto Carriers, you warrant that such items will not be tendered for transport and acknowledge that no claim for loss or damage to such items will be honored.
At time of pickup, it is the responsibility of the shipper, or designated representative to read and sign the motor carrier’s bill of lading shipping receipt and at point of delivery, to inspect the shipment and sign the motor carrier’s bill of lading delivery receipt indicating any exception or damage. Any problems regarding the delivery must be properly noted while the driver is present. The signing of the bill of lading at destination without immediate notification of any damage will be evidence of satisfactory delivery of the vehicle in good condition.
The authorized transporting motor carrier(s) shall be solely responsible for any claims of loss, damage, theft, non-delivery, or delay in transit or otherwise arising from or in connection with the transportation of vehicle(s). Allstate Auto Carriers will not be liable in any event for any such claims actual or alleged. Any claims must be filed promptly with the authorized transporting motor carrier(s) in writing, per the agreed to additional terms and conditions of the motor carrier’s bill of lading. Allstate Auto Carriers will assist customers in the filing and processing of any claims and warrants that all motor carriers retained have provided Allstate Auto Carriers with evidence of cargo insurance. General principles of federal transportation law will establish your rights, duties and obligations as a shipper and claimant. Where transportation is provided by boat (HI and AK), the steamship has limited legal liability and the purchase of your own insurance is advised for your vehicle.
Shipper understands that unforeseen delays in transit can occur which are beyond the control of Allstate Auto Carriers and its authorized motor carriers and qualified service providers, and that transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. The estimated transit time is 7-14 days in route coast to coast, and will vary depending on the time of year and the origination and destination of your particular move. Accordingly, in placing this order you waive any claim for substituted auto rental due to delay in pickup or delivery or for any other reason. All pickups and deliveries are door-to-door unless residential area restrictions apply such as truck weight restrictions, overhanging trees, steep hills, cul-de-sacs, etc. Shipper recognizes that pickups and deliveries may be rescheduled by Allstate Auto Carriers’ qualified service providers and shipper or vehicle owner agrees in their absence to designate a person to act as their representative at point of pickup and delivery, if for any reason they are unable to meet the service provider’s pickup and delivery schedule as modified.
Changes or alterations to pickup times, delivery dates or locations by the customer after order submission and vehicle scheduling may cause a delay in transport and additional charges may apply. Allstate Auto Carriers reserves the right to adjust price quotes in circumstances involving extraordinary tolls, remote locations, and limited access such as islands, capes and keys. In placing this order and executing the electronic reservation form included herein, you understand and agree to abide by Allstate Auto Carriers payment terms and refund policy set forth below.
Payments. The required $250 minimum deposit payment per vehicle for transportation services must be prepaid by credit card at the time your order is submitted and the remaining balance due will only be accepted in the form of cash or cashier’s check (C.O.D.) upon delivery, made out to the assigned motor carrier. You do have the option to prepay in full in advance at the time of order submission. Full payment of all freight charges must be made without offset of any kind prior to or at time of delivery.
Refund policy. Allstate Auto Carriers must be made aware of any order cancellations by customers in writing. Should any order be canceled by customer after submission, but before assignment to a motor carrier for any reason, an administrative cancellation charge of $25 per vehicle will be assessed. Allstate Auto Carriers will not refund any deposit payments or prepayments for services not canceled in writing more than 72 hours in advance of scheduled pickup. Any deposit payment or prepayment for any shipment canceled less than 72 hours prior to scheduled pickup will be retained by Allstate Auto Carriers
For expedited pickup service requests and in the event your vehicle is not picked up within the expedited 7 days due to inability of Allstate Auto Carriers to effect same, the expedited service surcharge will be refunded and the shipment will move as soon as possible. Allstate Auto Carriers reserves the right to cancel any booking prior to pickup. In the event Allstate Auto Carriers elects to exercise this right, it will return all deposits or prepayments.
In completing and executing the electronic reservation form included herein, you agree to pay to Allstate Auto Carriers the agreed amount for the identified door-to-door services. In addition, the following accessorial charges may apply:
(1) Inoperable Vehicles. If the vehicle tendered for transportation is inoperable and due to no fault of Allstate Auto Carriers or its service provider cannot be driven on and off the auto hauler, a minimum $150 service fee will be added to the transportation charges. (2) Storage Charges. If the shipper is unavailable at delivery after attempted notification of arrival, vehicles will be delivered to a terminal at driver’s discretion and additional storage charges and/or a re-delivery charge may be assessed by the motor carrier. (3) Oversized or Non-Standard Vehicles. In the event your vehicle is oversized, customized or non-standard in any way, additional charges may apply. Please advise the motor carrier of any alterations or upgrades to your vehicle prior to pickup. (4) Expedited Pickup Service. If you require expedited pickup of your vehicle, arrangement can be made to have your vehicle scheduled for pickup within 7 days of complete order submission at the additional surcharge of $250. I (owner / shipper / receiver / payer) have read and agree to all shipping terms and guidelines for service and I authorize this payment transaction.
Upon payment of a $250 re-booking fee, may be applied as a credit to any subsequent auto shipment within
12 months from date of cancellation.

Any dispute involving the services performed by Allstate Auto Carriers or the duties and obligations of the parties shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the County of Orange, California where general principles of federal transportation law and the laws of California shall apply.
